>>QU> Are you suggesting that the copies of the OT were merely written from memory?
>CQ> Yes, that is what she is saying! The Hebrew Scriptures were not written down until, I believe, the 2nd Babylonian captivity.
The "book of Moses" (Torah) was written while Moses was yet alive. The final notes concerning his death and afterward could have been added by his minister Joshua, but Moses as a prophet could just as easily have prophesied the last part too.
"And it came to pass, when Moses had made an end of writing the words of this law in a book, until they were finished, That Moses commanded the Levites, which bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD, saying, Take this book of the law, and put it in the side of the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, that it may be there for a witness against thee." (Deut.31:24-26)
Baruch obviously WROTE the words of Jeremiah right from his mouth:
"And they asked Baruch, saying, Tell us now, How didst thou write all these words at his mouth? Then Baruch answered them, He pronounced all these words unto me with his mouth, and I wrote them with ink in the book." (Jer.36:17,18)
The ridiculous traditions of catholicism are obviously false. Why do you yet cling to such vain and abominable perversions? Remember that Jesus is the Lord and be wise to flee from the witchcraft and whoredom of catholicism, lest thou be consumed in her fire. Grace be to them that receive the truth for Jesus' sake. Amen. --Richard
