"sin entered"

From a message by a Curious Questioner--
>CQ> Subj: Re: ORIGINAL SIN

>CQ> Adam did not sin as most think of sinning as in individual sins. At that point in time there were yet to be the commandments and ordinances set down in the Torah.

"And the LORD God commanded the man..." (Gen.2:16p)

There was no need for any other commandments before that one was disobeyed. The law [Torah] was added because of transgressions.

>CQ> God gave Adam full authority over his creation, dominion, way back in Chapter one, even to the point of naming the creatures within the Garden.

No, in chapter one, "...male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth." (Gen.1:27p,28

The man did not have "full authority" over the creation, but was given EQUAL "dominion" with the female only over that part of the creation that was in the earth, not in the heavens. (The naming of the garden help meets was in chapter two, not chapter one. :)

>CQ> God planted two trees of which Adam was not to eat thereof.

No, Adam was only commanded not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. He was free to eat of every other tree. It was only after he ate of that forbidden tree that it became necessary to deny the man access to the tree of life. Although the entire earth, including the garden, was destroyed by the flood in the days of Noah, we see that the tree of life appears again in the book of Revelation. (Rev.2:7, Rev.22:2, Rev.22:14 :)

ACCESS to the tree of life is by way of the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the way, and the truth, and THE LIFE. (Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved!) Grace be unto you. Amen. --Richard
