Snow White (Racism?)

From a message by a Curious Questioner--
>CQ> Subject: Inter-racial relationships.

>>QU> Moses married a black woman.

"Thou shalt not abhor an Edomite; for he is thy brother: thou shalt not abhor an Egyptian; because thou was a stranger in his land." (Deut.23:7 - Author's Version - A.V.1611)

>CQ> While it is possible that Moses married a black woman this is not an absolute.

Moses "married an Ethiopian woman." (Num.12:1p)

>CQ> At that point in time there was another race of people from the same geographical area that were not black.

Maybe in Egypt, but not Ethiopia. The "skin" of Ethiopians is set forth as black, like the spots on a leopard are black. (Jer.13:23)

>CQ> Scripture stands silent on the actual color of the woman's skin.

Moses' wife was NOT white, and after his older sister Miriam spoke against what God hath joined, "Miriam became leprous, white as snow." Obviously Miriam was NOT all that "white" before her bad-mouthing of Moses either. (The Lord restored Miriam after 7 times had passed.)

The Lord does divide families and nations, but that division is not based on outward appearance, for he looks on the HEART. Make sure that the Lord Jesus is in your heart and be not quick to speak against the authority of God: Remember that Jesus is the Lord.

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with thy heart. Amen. --Richard

4-part racism

From a message by Curious Questioners--
>CQ> Subj: Inter-racial relationships.

>>>>CQ4> I'm a white male who has had many relationships with black females. It will probably be that I will marry outside of my race. Is this a sin?

(Note: If "many relationships" means joined in intercourse, then the sin of fornication is already involved and anyone in such a case needs to get their HEART right with God in true repentance. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ: "Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification." --Rom.4:25)

>>>CQ3> You will have to put up with a lot of remarks from idiot racists from time to time though.

(Note: The many scripture references from CQ2's "Identity Scriptural Directory" with comments were mostly refuted by CQ's first 3 msgs.)

>>CQ2> In a word. Yes. It is a sin. And this is God's Word. So that should take care of the "stupid racist" line of thought.

>CQ> Well, the line of reasoning you have posted -is- pretty stupid, and certainly racist...so......if the shoe fits, wear it in good health!

Most pro or con racism reasonings seem to lack somewhat of CHARITY.

>CQ> Just a passing comment here about "strange wives:" Jewish descent is, and has always been, reconed thru the matrilineal line....in other words, if your MOTHER is Jewish, then you are Jewish. If she is NOT, then you are NOT.

"Ruth" (Matt.1:5p) was NOT Jewish, but her great grandson "David the king" was most certainly considered to be of Judah (Jewish). Your statement concerning "descent" is not scriptural. You will find mostly patrilineal descents in the Bible genealogies. Consider also the statement of Paul in Romans 2:28,29).

The wife the Lord PROVIDED for Adam was the same "kind" (1Cor.15:39p) as Adam, but most likely was different in APPEARANCE, especially when you consider that Adam was made from multi-color DIRT, but Eve was made from a bone-WHITE rib! (consider Romans 11:32,33)

The Lord Jesus said: "Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder." (Matt.19:4p-6)

Marriage is a lifelong committment with COMPLEX considerations. Let the Lord PROVIDE the mate, and how can HE be other than pleased? The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be unto you all. Amen. --Richard
