Rock of Ages! ("pesky"? :)

YES! Of course! And he DID make a Rock that CANNOT be moved!

"He is the rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he." (Deut.32:4)

David said: "The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence." - "He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved." (2Sam.22:2,3 & Psm.62:2) THE ROCK OF GOD CANNOT BE MOVED!

The Lord Jesus says: "Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like: He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a ROCK: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock." (Lk.6:47,48)

The ROCK of my salvation is an everlasting rock that cannot be moved! God "can" indeed do MANY things; and there ARE also SOME things which God "cannot" do; For instance: Once he has GIVEN "eternal" life to someone, he CANNOT take back that life, or else what he gave was not "eternal. ("Believest thou this?" --Jesus, Jn.11:26p :)

Do you HAVE this wonderful eternal life in Christ Jesus the Lord? NOW is the day of salvation: The Rock of our salvation is for SURE! As the song says:

My hope is built on nothing less;
Than Jesus' blood and righteousness:
I dare not trust the sweetest frame;
But wholly lean on Jesus' name.
On Christ, THE SOLID ROCK, I stand;
All other ground is sinking sand.

The word of faith says, That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved! Remember that Jesus is the Lord and be wise to trust THE ROCK that cannot be moved! (We have a firm foundation NOW! Grace be unto you all. Amen. --Richard :)
