>CQ> Forgive my butting in, and I note that I have only been able to absorb a little bit of what has been going on in this Area, but it seems to me, as a Christian that arguing tooth and nail to prove the scientific inerrancy of the Bible is missing the goal of the Scriptures.
Then arguing AGAINST the scientific inerrancy of the word of God is abandoning the goal altogether, and is antichristian. Christians are commanded to: "Prove all things; hold fast that which is good."
>CQ> What does God care about science?
Why don't you read the 35 scientific questions that God asked the man Job in the book of Job, beginning in chapter 38?
"Hast thou perceived the breadth of the earth? declare if thou knowest it all."
>CQ> So why do we fuss that God had to be scientific when God wrote the Bible?
By definition, God is omniSCIENT and therefore very SCIENTific in all that he does. It is only vanity for a man to think that he can be more scientific than God. Remember that Jesus is the Lord and be not wise in your own conceits. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be unto you in the love of the truth. Amen. --Richard
