Dear Friend, Toward the end of your message you asked, "Where are the prophets today ?". In your statement above, YOU were prophesying, but your words are false. When the Lord Jesus Christ returns, the REAL "Christians" will be WITH HIM, having been caught up to meet him in accordance with HIS BOOK. And if any "Christ" shows up that does not speak according to the revealed word of God in the Holy Bible given us by inspiration of the Holy Ghost, then certainly, anyone who is called "Christian" should NOT be deceived into following such.

No, Friend, Stephen did NOT say that. In the true scriptures given by inspiration of God, Stephen said (before the council): "Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye." (Acts 7:51)

What GOD is doing at this very moment in time is watching YOU as you HEAR these words which say to you that Jesus is the Lord! You would be wise to take good heed and let these sayings sink down into your ears and be not deceived by spirits speaking contrary to God's word.
God spake from heaven a certain time and said, "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." Peter said of that time: "And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount. We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost." (2Pet.1:18-21)
Be not deceived. The scripture given by inspiration of God is indeed MORE SURE than a "voice" speaking out of heaven! God has given us his sure word of prophecy in a BOOK, and the book that God uses is the Authorized 1611 Version as found throughout the earth and ABOVE! (The Author's Version has also been translated into other tongues for those who don't understand english. The Lord hath made man's tongue!)
Jesus says: "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away." JESUS is the AUTHOR and FINISHER of our faith! (Glory!)
Remember that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day for our redemption and justification through faith in his blood. Until you see the Lord Jesus face to face, you should be content to keep your face in his book! Keep his words in your heart for Jesus' sake. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
