>CQ> Do you believe that Jesus is Lord?
By the grace of God, I believe that Jesus is the Lord.
>CQ> He used the word "Lord" (notice, not the word LORD used in the Old Testament, but the word Lord which is most often used in the New Testament in the KJV.)
Behold: "For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, Until I make thy foes thy footstool." (Acts 2:34,35 - A.V. New Test.)
"THE LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool." (Psm.110:1 - A.V.1611 Old Test.)
"This thou hast seen, O LORD: keep not silence: O Lord, be not far from me. Stir up thyself, and awake to my judgment, even unto my cause, my God and my Lord." (Psm.35:22,23 - AV1611 O.T.)
Both words ("LORD" and "Lord") are used in both testaments. The Lord Jesus did NOT call Thomas by name when he appeared unto him in John 20:27, but Thomas knew Jesus and said: "My Lord and my God." AFTER Thomas confessed him before men, THEN Jesus called him by NAME!
>CQ> If Jesus is Lord, how can Jesus be missing from the message?
Why do you ask doubting questions? Whom do you say that Jesus IS?
Consider in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, and confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus. (And quit yer doubting! :)
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen. --Richard
