Right Thinking

From a message by a Curious Questioner--
>CQ> Subject: THOUGHTS

>CQ> Have you ever questioned something so great as God?

Yes; a long time ago, before the Lord found me and saved me.

>CQ> I have come to realize in the past few days that you should question things.

What for? (grin) Seriously, question in faith, not with doubt!

>CQ> People always say that God exists because the Bible says so.

The Bible as the word of God, exists because God says so.

>CQ> But how do you know that the Bible is not a work of fiction?

The proof is in the pudding. "Taste and see, that the Lord is good." (The pure word of God is the Authorized 1611 King James Version. The very central verse, Psalm 118:8, of the Author's Version says:)

"It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man."

>CQ> I believe that people created religion to have a reason for a social gathering.

Cain had religion, but Abel believed what God said. Religion usually turns out to be an excuse to kill someone. Faith in what God says, on the other hand, produces love and joy in your heart unto the Lord.

>CQ> I am searching for an answer to this question: Does GOD really exist or is it just a big myth that was created?

Deep down in your heart, you know that God exists. There is something else in your heart though, that doesn't WANT God to exist, and that is called SIN. Sin causes you to hide from God (and hide God from yourself), because you inwardly know that there can be no sin in the presence of God who is pure and holy and without sin.

The cure for sin is to be born again by the word of God. On the cross, the Lord Jesus Christ took your sins and mine upon him; and Christ died for our sins, and was buried, and rose again from the dead for our justification through faith in his blood. You can be cleansed from your sin and gloriously born again by the word of God.

The word of faith says, That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved; For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Remember that Jesus is the Lord and trust only him to save you from your sins through faith in his blood. Call upon him now, while he is near, that we both may rejoice later when we meet in the presence of the Lord. Grace be with your heart in love for Jesus' sake. Amen. --Richard
