Kings and kingdoms

>CQ> In Daniel 7, four beasts are pictured coming out of the sea. These beasts represent the FOUR WORLD KINGDOMS, the same four kingdoms are depicted in Nebuchadnezzar's dream (Dan. 2).

FALSE. The vision in Daniel 7 is given during the reign of the LAST king of Babylon, and the "interpretation" given plainly said, "These great beasts, which are four, are four kings, which shall arise out of the earth." (Dan.7:17)

Therefore the first beast of Daniel 7 has to be a kingdom that rises AFTER Babylon. The symbol of Persia(Iran) is a lion with eagle's wings. (As also the symbol of Great Britain.) It was through Persia that the commandment to restore and rebuild Jerusalem was given. (It was Great Britain in these last days with the Balfour Declaration, that gave Israel back her hope in the land.) The mouth of the beast of Revelation 13, is the "mouth of a lion." Therefore it is reasonable to suppose that the beast can speak english!

It is important to notice also that it is the three ribs that SPEAK in the mouth of the bear-like beast, commanding THAT beast to ARISE!

Obviously the vision of Daniel 7 is somewhat DIVERSE from the other visions given. In Daniel 7, although the beasts come out of the sea one AFTER another, there is no mention of conflict between them. We find parts of those beasts joined together in the Rev.13:2 beast. We do find conflict with the fourth beast, ten horns and little horn.

Notice also, that both the dragon (Rev.12:3) and the beast (Rev.13:1), have seven heads and ten horns, but the dragon's crowns are seven crowns on its seven HEADS, and the beast's crowns are ten crowns on its ten HORNS. Now notice that the seven kings (kings wear crowns) of Rev.17:3,10, come before the eighth king, which is also called "the beast", and that the ten kings (kings wear crowns) do NOT receive any kingdom UNTIL they rule for one hour WITH the beast, which was the eighth king after the seven, and WAS one of the seven.

The woman sitteth upon many waters, and in "the wilderness" the woman sits on the scarlet coloured beast, and the woman sitteth on the seven heads/mountains. (She is pretty SET in her ways.)

Now tell me, WHERE did "the great horn" (Dan.8:8) die? And the little horn which came out of ONE of the four horns (Dan.8:9) that were toward the four winds, was it not out of the northern horn, which expanded toward the south, and toward the east; but WHERE was "the pleasant land" in relation to WHERE that horn was? And what is the relation of "the great horn" with "Babylon the great"?

After the fourth beast of Daniel 7 is "slain", the other beasts have their lives PROLONGED for "a season and a time", after which "the Son of man" comes with the clouds of heaven. In Daniel 7, Daniel had "a dream" (singular, as in "the dream is one"), and he also had "visions" (plural!), but verse 2: "my vision" (singular!) "by night". Are you listening? When 3 horns of the 10 are plucked, 7 are left. (But who is wise to understand such simple things? :)

Remember that Jesus is the Lord and that he is the wisdom of God. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. --Richard
