Bats in the Belfry? :)

>CQ> The Bible is just chock full of logical impossibilities and plain out-and-out errors. - Let's start with: Leviticus 11:13 and Deuteronomy 14:11, 18. They say that the bat is not a flying mammal, but rather a bird.

No. The bat is not a bird, but is "among the fowls" as the text says:

"...among the fowls: ...And the stork, the heron after her[!] kind, and the lapwing, and the bat. All fowls that creep, going upon all four, shall be an abomination unto you. Yet these may ye eat of every flying creeping thing that goeth upon all four, which have legs above their feet, to leap withal upon the earth;" (Lev.11:13p,19-21)

You see that the highly scientific "fowl" classification of creatures includes not only birds that fly, but also the bat, and fowl that creep; and some that leap! (Flying squirrels don't fly by flapping wings, but by leaping, and they also go upon all four. Penguins waddle! Roosters strut their stuff like you children of pride! :)

>CQ> There's more....much more....

Remember that Jesus is the Lord and pay more attention to the plain english text of the Bible. (Authorized 1611 King James Version) Be not so ignorant of things that a child can understand. Grace be unto you in the truth. Amen. --Richard
